The Worst Tax Hike
Oregon lawmakers are considering hiking their state's taxes on beer by a whopping 1900%.

The proposed tax would increase taxes by $50 on each barrel of beer produced by state brewers.

The Oregonian says this isn't a new idea, though. Apparently a Democratic legislator named Ben Cannon brings this tax idea up all the time.
