Ted Cruz Defends Trump's Talk With Taiwanese Leader

A perhaps unlikely ally has emerged in the growing controversy about President-elect Donald Trump's phone call with Tawianese President Tsai Ing-wen: Ted Cruz. In a tweet, Cruz said that he would rather Trump talk to a leader like Tsai than other controversial figures that Obama has spoken to during his presidency.
