Famous singer and actress Cher took aim at Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday - but not because of her politics or how she carries out the press briefings. No, the music icon found fault with Sanders’ wardrobe.

“Would someone please tell Sarah Huckabee Sanders to stop dressing like a sister wife,” the tweet reads.
Twitter users were quick to point out that Cher hasn’t exactly worn the most…conventional…outfits herself.
WHAT? YOU are making comments about how people dress? hahahaha! WOW pic.twitter.com/HTT0pMxnkW

This coming from you and how we’ve seen you dress over the years... wow. ??

Of course, the singer didn’t enjoy having the shoe on the other foot.
Could You??Any WEAKER????I’ve had ppl say nasty things about me & my clothes for 53 yrs. Some days Lead, Some Days Feathers. Are you such Princess’s??that a stupid joke gets your knickers in a twist????
— Cher (@cher) January 23, 2018
You dislike/Hate me,& I Don’t care.Perhaps Walmart’s Sells backbones
She later admitted the tweet was a tad mean - but it’s okay, because Sanders is mean, too. And a liar.
It was kinda mean,But it was so funny. I Wouldn’t have said it,
— Cher (@cher) January 24, 2018
But she’s So Rude,SO Mean,SO DISMISSIVE,& LIES Like Pinocchio On Steroids

The real issue with Cher’s tweet wasn’t that it was “mean” - we doubt the press secretary really cares what Cher thinks of her style. The problem is that singer has proven herself to be a hypocrite, just like countless other celebrities railing against the Trump administration. Her childish attack on Sanders discredits virtually everything she had to say at the Women’s March in Las Vegas the previous day.
Here was her speech:

"What I'm going to tell you, you know, is it's time to step up to the plate and deserve it and to own it," Cher told the crowd. "If you don't take it, no one is going to give it to you."
Well, Sanders certainly stepped up to the plate and she's definitely owning it. But apparently, Cher's message only applies to liberal women.
Plus, you were such a huge voice during the rally, and by ridiculing Sarah's taste in clothes totally discredits the msgs you were trying to convey. Women are much more than how they look. And here you're judging her...c'mon Cher!!!

Funny how you change your perspective on feminism to suit your own agenda when it’s convenient. Come up with an argument, say something smart about why you disagree with Sarah Huckabee! Come on I know you can do it if you try!

Cher’s response?
SHE’S RUDE,AND SHE LIES??THERES NO SPECIAL DISPENSATION FOR A WOMAN WHO’S A BITCH
— Cher (@cher) January 23, 2018
You're really not helping your argument here, Cher. If you're going to call yourself a feminist, then maybe stop hurling ad hominem attacks at your fellow "sisters."
Thought we were marching to get more woman in power. Now we are tearing down the ones who broke through the glass ceiling before your movement...just because of different views. Doesn’t sound very United to me.

I guess bashing other women is the new thing to do! What happened to empowering women? Is that only if we share the same opinions??? I think there are more important things in this world than how we dress! Pretty lame and sad!

Pretty sad, indeed. If this is what modern "feminism" looks like, count me out.
