The New York Times tweaked its headline three times on a story about Democrats blocking a coronavirus stimulus package on Sunday.
The first iteration was surprisingly critical.

Sen. Mitch McConnell was livid after Democrats stalled the relief bill.
"We’ll have this cloture vote again at some point of my choosing, and hopefully some adults will show up on the other side of the room and understand the gravity of the situation," he said.
McConnell tears into Democrats on the floor. Specifically calls out Pelosi. Rare to see that on the floor, As angry as we’ve ever seen him on the floor.
