While Democrats Threaten to Pack the Supreme Court, RINOs Still Only Want to Fight the GOP

Clyburn has taken things a step further than Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who simply backed proposals to back the Court, by claiming that the total number of justices needs to be brought to 13. He joins a third major figure in Democrat Party politics, former Vice President Kamala Harris, who openly endorses the idea of reshaping the Court.

The fact that so many powerful Democrats, who many would assume would attempt to beat back these radical suggestions, are jumping on board to destroy the Court should be of grave concern for Republicans. For more than a decade the “nuclear option” has referred to upending super majority votes in favor of simple majority votes in the Senate. Now, the real nuclear option appears to be the total destruction of a branch of government.

And still, in some of the most consequential elections of the cycle, we have RINOs across the country who refuse to back Republican candidate Ken Paxton for control over one of the most influential Senate seats in the country. Whether out of a desire to see President Donald Trump, Paxton, or perhaps even their own grassroots voters lose in November, they would rather bash the candidate on social media and in the liberal press.

It’s baffling to see. Thankfully, Republicans have a massive cash advantage in the final stretch ahead of the midterms. Trump, the RNC, and plenty of candidates are flush with funds and are willing to spend heavily to boost their allies.

They recognize the importance of the midterms and they aren’t willing to allow the American people to suffer over a childish inter-party feud. Hopefully, the dissidents will find the willpower to set their immaturity aside and unify around the candidates who will fight those who want to tear the country down.
