When I think of British comedy, a few names come to mind, but none more so than Monty Python's John Cleese. Cleese has been in the news a lot lately, especially after Islamist social media influencers 5Pillars tried to get his Birmingham appearance canceled.
They accused Cleese — a staunch critic of Islam — to be a "hate preacher" and said he wasn't welcome in Birmingham. Cleese went. Turns out he was.
Chalk up a win for the West.
Now 5Pillars has reported Cleese to authorities, citing his statements on Islam.
🚨NEWS: The Islamist organisation 5 Pillars has reported John Cleese to the Prevent Programme after John made factual, accurate and valid statements about Islam

John's statements on Islam:
“To criticise a culture whose holy book advocates the killing of all the people they… pic.twitter.com/zbtmTdFVJh
Those statements are completely accurate and valid. They include:
- "To criticize a culture whose holy book advocates the killing of all the people they disagree with ... is not racist. It's culturalist."
- "Traditional British values are under attack from Muslim belief systems, especially the Koranic demands to kill 'infidels.'"
- "I personally prefer a culture that does not approve of female genital mutilation, child marriage, and killing infidels."
Where's the lie in what Cleese said? There's no racism here. Islam is not a race. It is a sociopolitical movement masquerading as a religion.
Criticise Islam, get reported.

That's the way our society works now. https://t.co/XGWU9G25U9
The only way to handle this is to send Islamists back to Muslim nations where they won't be offended by British comedians.
Despite being reported, Cleese isn't backing down. He called the report "one of the proudest moments of his life."

I would like to thank everyone concerned https://t.co/FDkvieJ3Lq
And attacked the so-called "religion of peace" for hunting down British citizens.
I guess that "Islam is a religion of Peace" is supposed to be taken ironically https://t.co/wF1CWgmHHR

But the most important post nails Islamist ideology exactly: driven by the male ego, the patriarchal ideology isn't used to being told no or being criticized.
The Islamic male ego becomes so bloated by its lack of restraint that it believes any criticism is blasphemy

I look forward to being arrested https://t.co/qn73OUKw7P
The authorities won't arrest John Cleese. Much in the same way as J.K. Rowling welcomed Scottish authorities arresting her over her pro-women stance, Cleese is too powerful and too rich to be slapped with handcuffs. The blowback would spark major outrage from free speech advocates worldwide, and authorities don't want to face criticism for their anti-West, anti-free-speech policies.
But that doesn't mean those policies will go away. The average British citizen does not enjoy the same level of freedom that Cleese and Rowling enjoy, thanks to their wealth and fame. Far too many British citizens have been arrested and even jailed for saying "mean" things online, including that they like bacon. Western authorities have made it very clear that they think being "racist" — or even being perceived as "racist" — is a bigger crime than the mass rapes and cultural erosion taking place at the hands of Islamists like the guys at 5Pillars.
These Islamists are bullies. The only difference between them and the kid who tormented you in grade school is the Islamists will cut your head off and not take your lunch money. Oh, and they have the blessing of weak, feckless, jelly-spined politicians who don't want to hurt the bullies' feelings, even as he's punching his victim in the face.
Western nations need to know this. I've written about it before, even though the Left routinely accuses me of being a homophobe and transphobe: everything the Left claims to support — from feminism to LGBTQ rights — goes bye-bye under Islam. It's not just about culture; it's about our basic freedoms and human rights.
Thank God men like John Cleese are standing up to Islam and showing others the way. We should all follow him.
