Women: what are we doing? The last several weeks have been a revealing glimpse into the supposedly fairer sex and, as a woman myself, I don't like what we're seeing. Not only have women come out in droves to support Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts woman who murdered her three children back in January 2023, but many of them seem absolutely convinced that Patrick Clancy, Lindsay's ex-husband and the father of those three children, is the real murderer here.
Their proof? Feels and a bunch of ill-informed TikTok sleuths who really think men are the source and summit of all evil in the world. So I'm not surprised by this poll, where a majority of Democrat women blame men for the world's problems, but especially women in the 18-to-29 age range.

This goes back to Democrat women often being surrounded by some of the worst men on the planet. The political leadership – Graham Platner, Eric Swalwell and the like — treat women like garbage. Rank-and-file Democrat men are little better, with their support for abortion in the name of "feminism," etc.
But I digress.
Men are not the source of America's problems. Oftentimes, they're the only thing keeping us afloat.
No, the biggest source of America's problems is not men. It's actually AWFULs – the Affluent White Female Urban Leftist. Not only did these AWFULs normalize murdering their unborn children (gee, no wonder they love Clancy, she just took that mentality to the next logical step), in doing so they rendered a generation of women childless. But they couldn't remove the maternal instinct that's hard-wired in most women. Some directed that instinct outward, like Dolly Parton, who was infertile because of endometriosis. She used her time to help children learn to read through the Imagination Library. Others dote on their pets.
But as I've argued before, a lot of AWFULs redirected their maternal instinct onto the absolute dregs of society: the criminals, the mentally ill, and other dangerous groups like Islamists. That's why crime runs unchecked in some parts of the country, why thugs like Decarlos Brown Jr. were able to walk free and kill Iryna Zarutska, and why some women don't even want their own rapist jailed.
I'm not one to back repealing the 19th Amendment, but all this behavior at least helps me understand why some people are floating that idea and women — especially AWFULs — are doing a bang-up job of making the case for them.
Earlier, I wrote about how women see Lindsay Clancy's attorney as a feminist icon. There was a line in The New York Post story that stuck out to me:
“We want to take you out for a steak dinner, Mr, Reddington! We love you so much,” Estrada, 37, said. “I had my health weaponized against me in family court.”
I'm going to make an intuitive leap that Estrada means her mental health, and the idea that she thinks it was "weaponized" against her in court. That deeply troubles me for many reasons. First, any mother's priority should be her children's safety. It's clear Estrada's former partner, whoever he was, had the children's best interests in mind if he pointed out she was mentally unfit to care for them. I'm guessing the court agreed with him, which Estrada didn't like.
But the argument here is scary: I'm a woman; therefore, my mental health should never be used to question my fitness to care for my children. That's exactly how we end up with another Lindsay Clancy. I doubt Estrada would have had any qualms about pouncing on her former partner's mental health if she thought it would help her in court.
Then I think of 11-month-old Basil Stoner, the New Mexico baby who was shot in the face by his mother, Madeline Daly so her ex-boyfriend couldn't get custody of his son. The mentality of women like Estrada leads directly to actions like Daly's. I wonder if these women will move on to New Mexico next to show their support for Daly and call her lawyer a "feminist icon."
So, women, here's the deal. We can't have it both ways. We can't be equal to men with the same rights and freedoms, and say women like Lindsay Clancy, Ms. Estrada, and others are helpless victims of their hormones and their mental health. Either women have agency, or they don't. Either women are held to the same standard as men, or they're not. But we cannot place the blame for problems on men and then demand special treatment while calling it "equality."
Something is fundamentally broken in America, and it's up to the sane women to stand up to the rest of our gender to send a clear message: You have agency. You have responsibilities. And men are not to blame for your problems.
