Adam Hamilton is running for U.S. Senate in the state of Kansas, but do Kansas voters know about Hamilton's ministry as a woke pastor of a megachurch? A new ad from the Main Street Fund is calling out Hamilton's left-wing theology.
In the ad, Hamilton's own words are used against him on issues like Black Lives Matter, environmentalism, and the radical LGBTQ agenda.
"Black lives matter, marching for righteousness," Hamilton said in a June 2020 sermon. "By virtue of being white, I have to repent." That was the year that Hamilton's church, the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Lakewood, Kansas, released "A Vision for Racial Justice," which said among other things that "We believe that all lives can't matter until all Black Lives Matter. As followers of Jesus Christ, we must condemn racism in every form, whether unconscious or conscious, systemic or arbitrary." In a July 2020 podcast, Hamilton clarified that position, saying, "And at this point, we all know this on this podcast I'm suspecting, but part of the reason why we have to say “Black Lives Matter” is because right now a lot of Black people don't feel like their lives matter as much as white people's lives and there's an important role to say."
The ad also shows Hamilton attacking cattle ranchers and meat-eating as harmful to the planet and once again calling for repentance. "Cattle end up producing more carbon dioxide. I'm calling us to repentance, maybe changing your diet," he said. Cattle ranching and the beef industry bring roughly $11.7 billion to the Kansas economy. Repentance would mean a lot of Kansas voters would lose their jobs and a major part of the state's economy.
Hamilton's church doesn't call for repentance on LGBTQ issues; however, it uses church funds to pay for drag queen story hours for children.
"Now Hamilton wants to transition to mega-woke Senator," the ad says. "Way too woke for Kansas."
In fact, Hamilton doesn't have any concerns about how radical and far-left the Democrat Party is becoming. In an interview with CNN, he said, "
Kansas Democrat Adam Hamilton won't disavow the Democrat Socialists who want to abolish prisons and borders:

CNN: Do you think the Left-wing of your party has gone too far?
HAMILTON: “There are people further to the Left, but that’s true in everything…” pic.twitter.com/6jlzMWHSwW
"Well, here's what I remind people of in Kansas: I'm running for the people of Kansas," Hamilton said. "I'm not running on a national Democratic agenda and I will say this: that there are people further to the Left, but that's true in everything."
Kansas voters need to know that Adam Hamilton is not a moderate, and he doesn't represent the values the people of Kansas hold dear. Through his woke megachurch, he's called for repentance for being white and driving Kansas' economy with cattle ranching, and he won't distance himself from the radicals in his own party. Kansas can't afford to send him to the U.S. Senate.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
