The 13 Jobs Joe Biden Shouldn’t Have the Chance to Finish

This week, apparently unable to get through a live announcement speech, President Joe Biden finally announced his re-election bid for 2024 with a prerecorded video declaring that he would seek to continue his run as America’s oldest president for another four years.

The pitch? Biden wants to “finish the job” he started just over two years ago. Americans, however, know all too well that Biden has failed at the job of president — and his chronically underwater polling that’s near all-time lows shows it. So what is this "job" that Biden's is pledging to finish if he is reelected?

Here are, in no particular order, 13 "jobs" undertaken by Biden that he shouldn't be allowed to finish.

Turning the southwest border over to criminal cartels.

Since taking office, President Biden and his administration have seemingly done everything possible to enrich violent cartels, limit penalties and removals for illegal immigrants, and turn the U.S.-Mexico border over to lawless criminals. All while, of course, Biden denies there’s any crisis at the border and it’s anything but “secure.”

Abandoning U.S. embassies abroad.

In just the first two years and change of his time as president, Joe Biden oversaw the abandonment of America’s diplomatic presence in Afghanistan during his deadly withdrawal and the suspension of embassy operations in Sudan. In both cases, Biden left an unknown number of Americans behind in war zones with no plans to help them evacuate.

Destroying America’s standing on the world stage.

For myriad reasons, Biden has failed to follow through on his goal to rebuild America’s image around the world and restore relationships with our allies. Instead, within months of taking office, Biden found himself being formally held in contempt for “dishonour” by the UK Parliament. Then, America’s oldest ally, France, recalled its ambassador to the U.S. after Biden blindsided the French by cutting them out of a nuclear submarine deal.

Bankrupting Americans’ 401(k)s and Social Security.

If you haven’t checked your 401(k) lately, don’t. Biden’s “build back better” economic policies have tanked the economy and erased all stock gains that had been made since Biden was inaugurated. As a result, millions of Americans’ retirement accounts sunk and those close to retirement were forced to reconsider their plans. Even worse, Biden’s refusal to negotiate with anyone to avoid the insolvency of social security means those relying on those payments might not be able to count on them within this decade.

Crashing the economy into a recession.

Despite promising Americans his economic policy would “build back better” than things were before COVID-19, Biden has failed to do so. Employment reports show that jobs still have not rebounded to pre-pandemic levels, and unemployment is expected to spike in the coming months as a result of the recession Biden’s tax-and-spend agenda has created. The economy’s growth is expected to continue petering out in the next year with contraction expected to worsen for some time before things turn around. One thing is clear: if Biden continues in office to “finish the job,” his policies will delay a recovery — if one happens at all — and extend how long it will take America to climb out of the economic pit his policies created.

Using his position to enrich the Biden family.

While Biden might claim he’s running for reelection to “finish the job,” he’s also running to maintain his position of power that has long made it profitable to be a member of the Biden family. As was evident after Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, the gravy train from foreign governments and other entities ends pretty quickly once your political connections are gone. What would Hunter Biden, James Biden, or the “Big Guy” himself do without steady income from people trying to get access to the White House?

Advancing abortion on demand until birth.

While hiding behind what he claims is his “devout” Catholic faith, President Biden has made it clear he wants to sign a law that goes far beyond what the flawed Roe v. Wade Supreme Court opinion ever allowed. Biden wants abortion to be legal for any reason at any point in a pregnancy and thinks taxpayers should be required to cover the cost.

Empowering America’s foes.

Beyond just weakening the United States and undermining readiness, Biden has also made the countries that hate us even stronger. A prime example was Biden’s decision to try getting China to talk Russia out of invading Ukraine. His plan wasted months with alleged back-channel diplomacy that only saw Beijing hand intelligence from the United States to Moscow and brought the two authoritarian countries closer together. Biden's failed leadership has created a global leadership vacuum that Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are more than willing to capitalize upon.

Gutting military readiness and replacing it with woke nonsense.

On Biden’s watch, the Pentagon has missed readiness and recruitment goals due to both his vaccine mandates and as a result of Biden’s directives that saw the Pentagon embrace leftist ideology. Instead of Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, Biden has his Department of Defense prioritizing the supposed “threats” of domestic terrorists, climate change, and inequity.

Breaching the constitutional rights of Americans.

In just his first two years in office, President Biden routinely ran afoul of the U.S. Constitution so egregiously that the Supreme Court of the United States had to intervene to strike down some of his attempts to illegally enact his agenda. From the vaccine mandate on American workers and the CDC’s eviction moratorium to his EPA’s attempt to shutter coal-fired power plants, Biden has shown no respect for Americans’ constitutional rights or the rule of law.

Remaining silent on lawless prosecutors.

As radical district attorneys including Manhattan’s Alvin Bragg and San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin, President Biden didn’t bother to speak out against their lenient policies that let the lawless flourish and profit while law-abiding citizens were terrorized. Biden could have taken action that would back up his dubious claims to support law enforcement by using his Department of Justice to tie federal funds to actual enforcement of the law, but he decided to target parents objecting to woke indoctrination at school board meetings instead.

Making Americans’ real wages negative with inflationary policies.

Despite promises to build the U.S. economy from the bottom up and the middle out, Biden’s tax-and-spend policies have caused American workers to take an automatic pay cut for 24 months straight because inflation soared to 40-year highs and continues to outpace wage growth.

Ending fossil fuels and forcing an energy “transition.”

Starting on day one of his administration, Biden declared war on American energy, started banning development via executive fiat, and began enacting his administration’s goal of ending fossil fuels. The results devastated U.S. energy independence, drove gas to record highs, and contributed to inflation by increasing energy costs across the board. Despite being struck down by the Supreme Court, Biden’s energy policies continue to seek an end to affordable and reliable energy with no end in sight.

Those are some of the most devastating "jobs" President Biden has undertaken so far in his first term, and they've all resulted in crises and chaos. They prove that Biden's reelection pitch to "finish the job" is more of a threat than it is a promise.
