In his inaugural address January 20, 1961, John Fitzgerald Kennedy made the world a promise and asked a profound question. The promise was a warning to the enemies of freedom around the world that the government he led would protect liberty. He said, “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty." There was in that speech also a commission for every American that may take their liberty for granted: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for you country.” It was a public call to action to do what was right for the greater good of our nation, our American way of life. Today, too many find fault with that way of life—a sad ignorance of the sacrifices and history that preserved their freedoms in modern day's ‘tear it down’ psychopathology.
Exactly 60 years later, January 20, 2021, Joseph Robinette Biden was inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States. His speech was a politically correct attempt to placate his leftist socialist handlers and pacify the half of the nation who believed the defeat of President Donald Trump was a criminal act.
Biden made many gratuitous promises, concluding: “My fellow Americans I close the day where I began, with a sacred oath. Before God and all of you, I give you my word. I will always level with you. I will defend the Constitution. I'll defend our democracy.
"I'll defend America and I will give all - all of you - keep everything I do in your service," he continued. "Thinking not of power but of possibilities. Not of personal interest but of public good. Keep everything I do in your service, thinking not of power, but of possibilities, not of personal interest, but the public good. And together we shall write an American story of hope, not fear. Of unity, not division. Of light, not darkness. A story of decency and dignity, love and healing, greatness and goodness. May this be the story that guides us. The story that inspires us and the story that tells ages yet to come that we answered the call of history. We met the moment. Democracy and hope, truth and justice did not die on our watch, but thrived. That America secured liberty at home and stood once again as a beacon to the world. That is what we owe our forebears, one another and generations to follow.”

Sadly, that perfidious promise lasted less than a day as he commenced with destroying our nation with a series of Executive Orders; a record 37 executive actions (executive demands) in his first week in office, or in Biden’s case Executive Demands.
Were you surprised that the man who has publicly espoused tall tales that caused him public and professional embarrassment throughout his career would stray now from telling the truth? The problem is, he no longer has any idea what truth is. President Biden has been reprogrammed by his woke handlers to only pronounce their bidding. His orders are the demands of the left whose agenda supersedes the Constitution and the tenets of our United States of America.
Joe Biden is a marionette (think James & Bobby Purify’s song “Pull the string and I'll wink at you I'm your puppet). His actions are controlled by his leftist Cabinet puppet masters. They demand we: Pay higher energy prices by sacrificing America’s energy independence, switch to renewal energy sources to fight the catastrophe of imminent climate collapse which Bjorn Lomborg argues presciently is way overblown. If you must, suck it up and burn your Bibles to heat your homes and ask not about the science but only what you can sacrifice for our allegedly dying planet.
We are asked to understand that an invasion of illegal (aka undocumented) trespassers is the result of a humanitarian crisis that demands we don’t question the generational effect the human tsunami will have on our national economy and wellbeing. Their demands will supersede our constitutional protections.
We aren’t guaranteed the right to have sufficient paper towels, toilet paper, Christmas toys or hand sanitizer but we have the right to expect competent leadership in the White House to resolve supply chain issues. Meanwhile, the president excuses his failures with lame brain promises of resolution. He demands we show patience for his political self-inflicted economic wounds.
The White House demands we be patient while a “temporary” inflationary period reduces Americans' disposable incomes each day. The Biden marionette says the economy will eventually fix itself as the Fed pumps more dollars into the economy while Biden and a Democrat Congress spend even more of your hard-earned dollars. Looking back in history, the Weimar Republic also “temporally” (1920- 1923) experienced a bit of inflation, contributing to a fellow named Hitler coming to power. He eventually demanded the world bleed for Germany.
Crime is rampant because the left demands that the rule of law be ignored in the name of social justice, a form of reparations. Smash and grab plus defund law enforcement movements are condoned by so called social justice warriors. Black Lives Matters demands many things but often the least of which is justice for the myriad victims of black-on-black crimes. They demand we repent for past cultural sins by ignoring that a crime is a crime no matter who perpetrates it.
Our Demander in Chief, the man tasked to preserve, protect and defend our Constitution, said if we do it his way then, “We met the moment. Democracy and hope, truth and justice did not die on our watch, but thrived.”
Sadly, we are off to a false start.
