Did you notice that humanity ended on June 21? I didn’t, either. But Greta Thunberg said it would happen, so I guess it did.
On June 21, 2018, Greta tweeted: “A top climate scientist is warning that climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.” Well, we didn’t stop using fossil fuels, so I guess humanity was wiped out. Too bad. I wanted to eat at Burger King today, but I guess there won’t be anybody there to serve me.
Another “top climate scientist” named Al Gore said in 2009 that “the North Pole will be ice-free in the summer by 2013 because of man-made global warming.” Kinda like Greta’s prediction. I wonder if Santa Claus has noticed the porpoises swimming around his house lately.
Of course, in the 1970s, they were all predicting a new ice age. But that “science” apparently wasn’t profitable enough.
These kinds of predictions by climate “experts” could be countlessly multiplied, of course, and convince no one except those who never study the evidence and take CNN’s word for everything. “Climate change” exists for two reasons: one, to enable governments to move towards totalitarian power by taking more of your money and freedom, and two, to enable corporations to earn billions of dollars off contracts paid to them by the government with the money extorted from you, and with totalitarian laws created by said governments to help those corporation (“crony capitalism”). Xi Jinping and Kim Jung-Un care nothing about “climate change” because they already have totalitarian governments and state-controlled businesses. Funny, huh.
Actually, true science has known for a long time that changes in the climate happen naturally and that humans have nothing to do with it. Back in 1958, NASA scientists first observed (and reported) that changes in the earth’s orbit around the sun, as well as alterations to the earth’s axis, are responsible for climate and its fluctuations. Most objective climate scientists today are agreeing with this—that the sun, not the SUV you drive, plays a major role, perhaps the decisive role, in the earth’s climate. NASA, to its eternal shame, has done nothing to correct the falsehoods about “man-made global warming,” a lie it has known has existed for over 60 years.
It’s not that NASA has been totally silent, it just is making no major effort to correct the “climate change”fiction. In the year 2000, NASA published information on its Earth Observatory website about the Milankovitch Climate Theory, which demonstrates that climate deviates due to extraneous factors that have nothing to do with human activity. The theory is too lengthy and complex to discuss here, but interested readers can search the web about it. But here it is, in a nutshell: “Depending on the earth’s position to the sun at any given time, climate conditions are going to vary dramatically, and even create drastic abnormalities that deny everything humans thought they knew about how the earth worked” (Ethan Huff, “Nature News,” August 30, 2019). It’s really hubris to the extreme to think scientists exhaustively know how our planet works, or even a minute amount about it. But that’s where the money is, and today’s “science” is about nothing if not money. Big pharma and Fauci, anyone?
Again, non-browbeat climate scientists have known the above for quite some time, but unsurprisingly, Milankovitch’s theory has received no mainstream recognition for the simple reason that it disproves the Leftist propaganda about climate change—propaganda, don’t forget, which exists for two reasons, government power and corporate profits which woke companies can then donate to Leftist causes government likes (so THAT’S why...yeah. That’s why.). Since NASA gets its money from government, it obviously has a vested interest not to counter the “accepted wisdom.” Many people will do anything for a buck, including destroy mankind.
The whole “global warming” crusade began (replacing the “global cooling” movement) about the time it became obvious to the Reds that their Marxist world revolution would not be accomplished by the Soviet Union. That totalitarian empire collapsed, and all the Reds rushed to the Greenie camp. If the earth starts cooling again (only the sun knows for sure), then you can expect them to line up behind China (which really wasn’t an option in the late-1980s). I find it interesting that the Greenies give only token complaints (if any) about China’s non-existent “climate change” policy. Xi does the minimal lip service to it, and maybe even occasional political service as well. But he knows “climate change” is a lie and he isn’t going to destroy his country, as Joe Biden is doing to America, for the sake of a ridiculous hoax.
Well, none of this really matters. Humanity ended on June 21. Greta said so.
