Welcome back to another "Stream of Kurtiousness!" I've practiced law for 30 years, and I have some thoughts about what happened on Monday. We win about 80 to 90 percent of our cases, but we're going to lose a few. Yesterday, we learned that there's no such thing as election day. Amy Coney Barrett sided with Democrats who think states can run elections however they want, even if ballots show up after Election Day. I don't like this decision, but I can live with it. It's not a catastrophe for the right, and if I had to pick a case to lose, it might be this one. I don't think this will affect elections as much as many Republicans do.

Another big case yesterday determined that the president can fire people who work for him. This is obviously a good thing, as the American people don't get a chance to vote for any of these career employees. We will continue to win SCOTUS cases and lose a few, but the results so far have been pretty good!
