When a Legal Fever Dream Smashes Into Legal Reality

Yesterday, the "Resistance" took the "We're going to throw Donald Trump off the ballot through one weird trick" case to the United States Supreme Court. That is, leftists went in and tried to argue to the Supreme Court that, "Yes, we're going to throw Donald Trump off the ballot in all the states, not allow half of America to vote for this former president because he's an insurrectionist and we know he's an insurrectionist because people on MSNBC said so." And the Supreme Court said, "Mmmmm... yeeeeaaahhhhh.... nooooo... you're kind of an idiot." This is an example of a legal fever dream smashing into legal reality.
