One year on and I still care nothing about January 6, 2021 – except that there are certain accounts that need to be settled in its aftermath. We’ve seen slanders, intimidation, political prosecution, prisoner abuse, the total abandonment of constitutional protections and – I know you are surprised – norms. What is not corrected is repeated, and the fascist attempt to silence dissent led by the Democrats and their ally Liz “Send Your Kid to Fight My War” Cheney must be dealt with by both Speaker McCarthy and President Trump/DeSantis. Through these unamerican creeps, the institutions have attempted to use the fake insurrection as a means to hold onto power while the people rejected their corruption and incompetence. They need to pay. And any conservative worth the name needs to be committed to exacting justice.

Also, there is a new Matrix movie for some reason. I think the reason is to try to take back the first movies from conservatives. It does not look like that worked.

Insurrection Toobining

My new favorite thing is liberal dinguses, including generals who have failed to win any wars overseas and seem to think maybe they should try to do better here, crying about how 2024 will be a coup or an insurrection or whatever. The ham-handed ploy is a cheesy flex designed to delegitimize any resistance to the regime, but you knew that. Everyone knows that. This is why it is such a festival of onanism. Everyone know that it’s stupid but they still drive on pretending it’s not.

The continuing January 6th psychodrama is also evil. The Democrats are trying to use it as a means to scope out and destroy all opposition. That’s being fought in the courts, and I expect justice – that is, our side – will eventually either prevail or time will run out for the Democrats and their hideous crone pal Liz and it will be disbanded. But the committee should not be disbanded. It should be purged of the traitors and scumbags and reconstituted to focus on the truth about the shameful McCarthyism whose danger to the Republic dwarfs any threat posed by the guy in the Viking hat.

When Kevin McCarthy takes over next year, he needs to fire the entire Capitol Hill police leadership for tolerating that parade of schmucks in uniform testifying about how terrible Trump is. The reconstituted committee must then investigate the inhuman conditions the political prisoners are kept in and then subpoena, and reveal, the communications of the conspirators on the former committee who used it to persecute American citizens for the crime of opposing the regime.

The next GOP president must order his DOJ to investigate and prosecute not just Ashli Babbitt’s killer, but everyone who abused the political prisoners in jail. Also, he should fire all the prosecutors who sought to hold them without bail. Then he must not only pardon every 1/6 accused – except the ones who collaborated with the feds (of course, they famously have not been charged) – but settle, for millions of dollars, the civil rights violation claims of those the government flunkies persecuted.

There can be no pretending that this is not a constitutional abomination. We must not pretend that this is somehow okay, or pretend that the rule of law is in effect. It isn’t. We must ensure that the enemy wins nothing, and that those who truly threatened the Constitution pay the price.

The Matrix is Back for Some Reasont

The first Matrix movie was okay – it was sufficiently shooty and explodey – but conservatives really bit on the idea of the red-pill, the choice to see the world as it is instead of as it is being presented to you by the establishment. Millions of conservatives were red-pilled as they finally choose to see the lies, corruption and failures of the ruling class.

But now, the who rebel thing that The Matrix celebrated is totally out. It’s an era where we are expected to celebrate control and submission. Wear your masks! Obey the teachers! Do as the corporations say! Stop asking questions! Never question authority.

The other two Matrix movies were mere shadows of the original – the hilarious rave scene in the third is literally all I remember. But now there is a fourth one, and I have not seen it and do not intend to. Apparently, it’s function is to try to take back the red-pill idea and rethink it so that…what? So that you should stay inside the matrix and embrace the lie? The directors seem to think so. Both of them were men and are now pretending to be women.

Besides the political angle, is this really just them trying to announce, through the medium of Keanu and his jumping and shooting and karateing, that it is better to buy into the lie and stay asleep? That true happiness is to be found submitting to the false?

Probably. But they cannot take back the red pill meme. It’s ours. When a concept from popular culture breaks through and organically takes on a meaning of its own, it cannot be recovered and neutered. They don’t own the red-pill. They don’t own the narrative. They can make a dumb new movie. They can try to change everything that came before, but that no longer fits within the dominant paradigm. But they can’t do it.

The red pill is ours.

Open wide.
