For nearly three decades, the Democrat Party, in partnership with the global elite and their friends in the media, has desperately tried to control the lives of the American people under the guise of “protecting the environment” and fighting “climate change.” They’ve used the cause of climate change to do everything from mandating which vehicles Americans can drive, limiting their ability to travel, encouraging couples to limit the number of children they have and censoring those who dared to engage in wrongthink against non-sensical, illogical and dangerous climate change ideology.

In 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Saule Omarova to become comptroller of the currency at the Department of Treasury. She wasn’t just any nominee, but instead a full-blown, communist central planner who wanted to eliminate private banking and bankrupt the oil industry to “fight climate change.”

"We want them to go bankrupt if we want to tackle climate change," Omarova said during remarks to a group.

In a rare act of sanity, her nomination was torpedoed and she never made it to the Treasury Department.

With the election of Donald Trump in November, the climate change agenda came crashing down.

“Under President Donald J. Trump, America is back — leveraging environmental policies rooted in reality to promote economic growth while maintaining the standards that have afforded Americans the cleanest air and water in the world for generations,” the White House released this week just in time for Earth Day. “Unlike the previous administration, which wasted billions of taxpayer dollars on virtue signaling and ineffective grifts, the Trump Administration’s policies are rooted in the belief that Americans are the best stewards of our vast natural resources — no ‘Green New Scam’ required.”

Trump is doing everything from stopping wildlife-killing solar farms, taking America out of the Paris Climate Accords, disengaging economically from China’s fake green energy economy, getting rid of ineffective bans and forced use of paper straws and prioritizing healthy forest management.

Most importantly, Trump’s central economic policy revolves around unleashing American energy.

“By supporting cutting-edge technologies like carbon capture and storage, nuclear energy, and next-generation geothermal, the Trump Administration is ensuring America leads in both energy production and environmental innovation — producing the cleanest energy in the world. Moreover, by ending the Biden-era pause on liquefied natural gas export approvals, the U.S. is sharing cleaner energy with allies, reducing global emissions, and creating American jobs — building on President Trump’s first-term successes, where the U.S. led the world in greenhouse gas emission reductions,” the White House recently touted.

The era of energy weaponization and control by the federal government is over. As a result, Americans can expect more freedom, choice, lower prices and broad economic growth fueled by a bright energy future.
