For too long, the Washington establishment believed America’s strength was proven by how many wars we could start, not how many we could end.
They called it “leadership.” I call it what it was: reckless foreign policy paid for by the blood of American patriots.
From his first term to his second, President Trump has proven that “peace through strength” isn’t just a slogan, it’s a strategy that works. He brought back a kind of leadership this nation hadn’t seen in generations: not weakness disguised as diplomacy, not endless wars to please the D.C. establishment, but strength grounded in American power, purpose, and pride.
President Trump has ended eight wars and conflicts overseas, brought our troops home, restored stability abroad, and sent one message loud and clear: the United States will defend itself fiercely, but not fight your forever wars.
Because of that leadership, America is respected again. Our enemies think twice before testing us, our allies know where we stand, and our troops finally have a Commander-in-Chief who values their lives as much as their service. For the first time in decades, the world understands that the United States doesn’t seek conflict, but if you cross us, you will regret it. That’s deterrence. That’s peace through strength.
President Trump flexed American power to bring Hamas to the table and force a ceasefire, ending the violence and restoring stability in the Middle East. He succeeded where every other president failed. He didn’t negotiate from weakness or bow to international pressure. He led from strength, stood firmly with Israel, and proved that America doesn’t have to choose between peace and power. That’s real leadership. And let’s be honest, if the Nobel Peace Prize meant anything anymore, President Trump would already have one. No one in modern history has done more to end wars and restore peace than the man the world once mocked and now must respect: the Commander-in-Peace.
I’ve seen war up close. I’ve bled for this nation and buried friends who gave everything for it. I’ve watched brave Americans shoulder impossible burdens while bureaucrats back home play politics with their lives. That changes how you see the world. It changes how you define “strength.” Real strength isn’t measured in how quickly you send troops overseas, it’s measured in how wisely you use the power God has entrusted to this nation.
That’s why we can’t hand the reins back to the globalists and neocons who never seem to learn. The same foreign-policy elites who gave us Iraq and Afghanistan are already itching for the next conflict — ready to spend American lives and dollars on another endless “mission” overseas while our own country struggles here at home. They call it strategy, but to the men and women who fight those wars, it looks a lot more like betrayal. We’ve had enough of politicians who measure strength in body counts and debt. Real strength means putting America first — rebuilding our infrastructure, caring for our veterans, and making it possible for working families to afford a home again. It’s time to defend peace abroad and prosperity at home.
America is a constitutional republic — the arsenal of democracy and freedom around the world. And my home state of Alabama has long been its backbone. We don’t just build weapons here; we forge warriors, values, and grit. The same spirit that makes Alabama strong is what keeps America free.
In the midterms next year, it’s crucial we elect leaders who understand that strength is not aggression, and that peace must be earned through power, not apologies. Real strength means defending peace through resolve, not inviting war through weakness.
I’ve fought for this country in uniform, and I’ve seen what happens when Washington forgets the cost of freedom. We should never again trade American blood for another nation’s mistakes. America’s warriors — and the nation they defend — deserve better. America deserves peace through strength.
