Democrats lost the White House, the Senate, and the House. There’s a lesson in there for anyone looking that has to do with the idea that if you continually do unpopular things, you will continue to get less and less popular. Democrats are not willing to look and thank God for that. The less they take away from their losses, the more likely they will repeat them.
It’s funny watching them argue that they simply didn’t “woke” hard enough. It takes a special kind of stupidity to believe that, but these are the same people who believe they didn’t cry racism hard enough in past losses; so stupid is their currency, and crazy is the highest demonization.
OK, it’s not really their currency, as they absolutely LOVE money…as long as it’s someone else’s money.
Tomorrow is “Giving Tuesday,” which follows Thanksgiving Thursday, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Safety Sunday, and Cyber Monday. Personally, I’m looking forward to “Leave Me The Hell Alone Wednesday,” but I’m old-fashioned that way.
Cynicism aside, Giving Tuesday is about charity, or at least it’s supposed to be. And by charity, I mean the type that helps people in need, not helps leftists get elected.
It was only a matter of time before the political world started leeching onto the charity tag – they both solicit donations for their existence. Still, only one is tax deductible, and the other feeds scumbag political activists.
Over the past week, I have received four emails from a leftist group called “Emerge.” Their objective has something to do with electing women, diversity, and leftism – honestly, I couldn’t care less because screw them.
My problem isn’t that they exist – anything that sucks up money from the left-wing industrial complex is a good thing, in my opinion – it’s that they are glomming on to something that is supposed to be for helping people to line their own pockets. It’s gross.
“We’re just FIVE days away from Giving Tuesday, and we need your help today to make sure we don’t fall behind on our critical $50,000 fundraising goal,” opened their first email. “A generous donor will MATCH contributions – dollar for dollar – up to $50,000 through Giving Tuesday! Can I count on you to take advantage and 2x your impact today? Every dollar counts as we ramp up our efforts to recruit and train more Democratic women to run for office!”
If the donor is so “generous,” why is their donation conditional? Of course, they’d have to exist for that to matter, and I have my doubts.
Since they aren’t a real charity, I can’t look up their Form 990 and have no idea of their budget, but it’s not nothing. Raising $50,000 may seem like a lot, but not when you consider their website lists 36 employees—unless they all live in the office, eat ramen, or are simply all independently wealthy.
Another one of their emails gives away the game. They write, “As an organization that centers women of the New American Majority (NAM) in our training programs—Black, Brown, and Indigenous women and women of color, as well as young, LGBTQ+, and unmarried women— Emerge alums are candidates of their communities, meaning that they are exactly the type of down-ballot candidates who drive change and fight back against the MAGA Republican agenda. This Giving Tuesday is your opportunity to continue your support for Democratic women, and contributing to Emerge is one of the best choices you can make!”
The race, sexual orientation, abortion-obsessed left is, well, racist, gay-crazed, and loves abortion like it saved their life in Vietnam.
Their latest email reads, “Our work takes significant investments, so we need to ensure we have the resources to recruit and train as many Democratic women as we can to run for office in 2025 and beyond. We need your help before MIDNIGHT TONIGHT! That’s why we’re asking you to contribute your most generous gift to help us reach our $50,000 Giving Tuesday fundraising goal in just a few days. Your contribution will be MATCHED by a generous donor – dollar for dollar – up to $50,000.”
Gotta get that money before midnight on Saturday for a Tuesday deadline?
Look, these people are gross. The only thing worse than them is the fact that this garbage works. Someone is giving them money, a lot of it. Hell, Kamala Harris and her allies had more than two-and-a-half BILLION dollars. While most of that came from rich liberals looking to buy a slice of influence, a good chunk of it came from suckers who believed they were doing good and helping honest people. Not one penny spent by the left does that, ever.
