There is no group more destructive than Democrats with even a whiff of power. They are Hitler overdosing on caffeine when it comes energetically imposing their will on people. It’s hard to care, honestly, when idiotic voters elect these people, but it is Republicans who put up such worthless candidates against horrible people and can’t message their way out of a wet paper bag. That’s one of the lessons of the 2022 election, and a bunch of other lessons are about to go into effect after the first of January as what Democrats are forcing on people are implemented.
If you know anyone in California who works in the fast food industry – usually teenagers and other people supplementing their income with part-time, flex work – they’re screwed. What was once the launching pad into the work world will not be too expensive to hire as many people to do, as the state raises their minimum wage to $20. Sorry, but if you can be replaced with a touch screen and a credit card swiper you aren’t worth $5 an hour, let alone $20.
“Pizza Hut is set to lay off more than 1,200 delivery drivers in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties in the coming year, ahead of a new state law that boosts the fast-food minimum wage,” reports CBS News. That’s one chain in one geographic area, what do you think it’s going to be like in the rest of the state?
Luckily, in this modern age, idle teenagers in large urban areas love to do community volunteer work or read to the elderly… Or they organize looting on social media and rip off anything that isn’t nailed down, one of the two. What could go wrong?
At least California isn’t in play – the leftists that live there are either too broke and stupid or rich and insulated to care about the damage their votes are doing. A state like Michigan is, at least theoretically.
Michigan has a bunch of dumb laws going into effect because Repubicans lost big last year. They lost control of both chambers of the legislature and Governor because they let Fox News and Democrats through lawsuits disqualifying others pick their candidate. When Democrats choose their opponent, expect them to win. They, unlike Republicans, know what they’re doing. (Sound familiar?) Nothing is more destructive to the cause of conservatism than cable networks influencing voters when all they care about is the immediacy of ratings.
Michigan is losing their “right to work” laws – meaning Democrats will be forcing people who don’t want it to join unions. Nothing terrifies unions like the idea of voluntary membership, which tells you all you need to know about what they offer prospective members.
Unions also happen to be a massive funder of the Democratic Party. Democrats force membership, dues are collected, union bosses live large on “expense accounts,” legislators raise the minimum wage which raises union wages (because they’re tied together in contracts), dues increase, etc., etc. This is without even mentioning the government unions Democrats can directly fund with our tax dollars, then mobilize as a cog in the deep state to undermine conservative initiatives.
When you let your opponent pick your nominee, this is what you get.
Thanks to bad candidates and campaigning, Michigan will now be a safe-haven for abortion on demand at pretty much any point.
Everything matters, there is always a ripple effect – campaigning almost exclusively on Fox News gets you the votes of their viewers, which amounts to less than 1 percent of the population of the country. If a candidate can’t or won’t craft a message that appeals beyond that tiny sliver of the country, expect to keep losing.
Appealing to less than 1 percent of the country will raise you money, make your streaming channel popular and allow you to make a nice living. What it won’t do is win elections or change the course of the country for the better.
Democrats are on the verge of screwing over a lot of people, but they couldn’t have screwed over anyone were it not for Republicans running horrible campaigns on the backs of flawed candidates. As everyone adapts to new left-wing laws and the damage they cause, remember that going forward.
