Congressman Reichert serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, with appointments to three subcommittees: Tax Policy, Human Resources, and Trade, of which he is Chairman.
Prior to coming to congress, Congressman Reichert served 33 years in law enforcement, during which he led the investigation into the Green River serial murder case. He now co-chairs the Law Enforcement Caucus and last summer he created the Law Enforcement Task Force to investigate ways to rebuild relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
