DNC PR Firm – CNN / HOLLYWOOD

  • Seriously, why – WHY – would he be considered an authority?!

Jake Tapper sat in with entertainment mega-star George Clooney for a lengthy interview. The actor waxed authoritative on a number of issues and lent his opinion on who should head the Democrats in the 2028 election. (We now await Jake hosting a prominent name promoting GOP futures.)

Why, is the prevailing question, once you consider Clooney first hosted a fundraiser for Joe Biden, dealing intimately with the then-president, and next coming out to call for him to step down after the disastrous debate, as if Joe’s condition was a huge surprise. Then, after Kamala’s faceplant in the election, Clooney was dismayed people were pointing at him for facilitating putting the loser on the top of the ticket.

Anyone at this point looking to him as a sage-like source is only inviting more of the dismal returns. Meanwhile, George should ease back from the Ozempic.

Anti-Social Media – THE INDEPENDENTS

  • When not speaking would be the better option, rely on Taylor to disregard that advice.

For the most part, we have dispatched Taylor Lorenz from coverage, given she is not plying her trade solo, and that she has degraded herself so significantly. But following her deeply disturbing pro-assassin position with Donie O’Sullivan, Ms. Lorenz attempted to rehabilitate her image by squaring off with Sean Hannity. It went about as poorly as expected.

Her abject refusal to say it is wrong to support a confessed murderer only dug her hole deeper.

Glossary Over Things – AXIOS

  • Someone should notify the founder this article slipped out under his banner.

Since the election, Axios co-founder Jim VandeHei has been in a state of distemper over the state of the press industry. He was just recently decrying that people are fleeing for other sources for news as a result of “A few bad apples” in the press. Someone should alert him to this rotten Granny Smith that was published at his site.

As the press continues to shame themselves over the fraudulent news about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, Axios felt it needed to join in on the dysfunction. Despite ample evidence that Garcia is an illegal immigrant, and an adjudicated MS-13 gang member – and a domestic spouse abuser and possible human trafficker – here it is declaring that the deported citizen of El Salvador is a “Maryland constituent.”

Body Checking the Fact-Checkers – CNN

  • Disproving based on the few examples in the admissions is…certainly something.

As we covered yesterday, the press has been all in with their sympathetic stance on the Harvard-White House financial feud. To further its sycophantic stance, CNN brought out Evan Perez to beat back on the narratives from the right that, like NPR and PBS, Harvard is a leftist institution.

Perez comes in with his daft explanation: Harvard cannot be considered a liberal center because it has as alumni Senators Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton and Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. Uh huh. Considering that the university has on average over 30,000 students enrolled, these three can hardly be looked at to be disqualifying from the accusation.

Pre-Written Field Reports – CNN

  • “We were not prepared for you to bring out biological accuracy.”

Kasie Hunt brought on the head of the Department of Education, Linda McMahon, to discuss the move to have trans athletes excluded from competing as women. Ms. Hunt began by trotting out the wording of the Title IX legislation, thinking that the quote “No person shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination.”

She thought she had the secretary cornered, except McMahon countered with common sense and science. Trans athletes are not being discriminated against because they are free to compete in the category based on their sex granted to them at birth. Ms. Hunt appeared rather dyspeptic when confronted with core scientific fact.
