Low-Octane Gaslighting – CNN

  • So…um…so, Biden stepped down because he won?

In what has to be the most insincere piece of political analysis we have Jamal Simmons. He is seen frequently on panel discussions and on one in particular, he came out with a rather outlandish declaration:

"Look, Trump right now is zero for one when it comes to debates. Right? He may think that he won that debate, but it might be that he actually lost the war because of that debate."

Trump…LOST the debate with Biden. It takes some Olympic-level mental gymnastics to come up with this conclusion, and Scott Jennings (who is frankly the only reason to even watch CNN) rightfully reacted to this comment with a double face-palm.

First Amendment Strike Force – KAMALA HARRIS CAMPAIGN

  • Should his inclusion on the staff be enough to disqualify Kammy?

Yesterday, we covered how Facebook kaiser Mark Zuckerberg came forward with a letter to the House Judiciary Committee admitting to the various ways Facebook was limiting free expression on the platform by blocking key narratives, and doing so at the direction of the White House.

The primary force behind the Biden administration compelling this violation of the First Amendment right was Rob Flaherty. His correspondence with moderators to instruct what particular speech needed to be shut down was exposed in the Twitter Files. This is a person who needs to be regarded as a dangerous figure.

As is being pointed out, this is a man who is a key figure in the Kamala Harris campaign.

Matching Media Memorandum – THE HILL

  • If enough outlets keep this drumbeat going, it might begin to stick.

One of the newer narratives to be developed about Kamala Harris is that her opponents — Donald Trump and J.D. Vance — are working to unfairly paint her as coupled to Joe Biden and the administration. That would be the administration she is a part of at a high level.

The Hill works valiantly, but futilely, to make the Afghanistan fiasco the fault of Trump and claiming he is “trying” to tie Harris to the pullout disaster — something she bragged about being a key participant.

Legalized Press-titution – CNN

  • It is just soooooo amazing that Swifties are for Kammy, and stuff!

In the absence of Harris actually campaigning, one of the primary methods of “getting her voice out” has been the reports of differing groups… for Harris… coming out with Zoom calls and just gushing over the candidate. One of the latest just took place and it might be about the most embarrassing.

But you would not know this based on Manu Raju who gave full airtime for the “Swifties for Kamala,” fans of Taylor Swift who are Democrats. This included Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Chris Deluzio, who sat for an interview about his participation in the meetup. Yeesh…

Blue-Anon – THE INTERCEPT

  • This “investigative” journalist should understand that she disproves nothing with her shoot-the-messenger deflection.

Jacqueline Sweet is apparently proud of her job description of “Investigative Journalist,” given it is the first item in her bio (along with a list of left-wing outlets). She is based out of Minnesota and as such has working knowledge of Governor Tim Walz and his career. She is also clearly bothered by all of the news reports seen detailing his prevarications over the years.

Sweet explains that all of the reports about his various lies — his service record, IVF treatments for his family, his rank at retirement — originated from small outlets in the area and have circulated for years.

What she does not do is disprove any of the claims, however — largely because the man is on record saying the very things he is proven to have lied about over the years. This is wan deflection, and nothing more.
