Gilded Reframe – 'THE VIEW'

  • 'We were 100% wrong, but accurate.'

On "The View," they really should steer clear of any reference to Nazis. I mean, it is not hard to recall it was mere months ago that Whoopi Goldberg served a suspension over inept Holocaust commentary. As I recently covered, Nazis in Florida had been laughably covered in the press, and unsurprisingly, some Third Reich comments by the third-rate thinkers on the gab-show were hysterically out of phase from logic.

In commenting on the events around the TPUSA conference, the ladies suggested that the GOP was in full support of the group, and the Nazis had even been invited inside the convention center. The gals were forced to walk back many of their comments following a commercial.

Glossary Over Things – MERRIAM WEBSTER DICTIONARY

In the never-ending and never-logical appeasement of the trans community, it seemed inevitable we would reach this conclusion. Recently, the folks at Merriam-Webster Dictionary altered the recognized definition of a "female." The new definition they have included now reads thusly:

- fe·male | \ 'fe-?mal  \

b.: having a gender identity that is the opposite of male

Now, we see the issue in trying to appease the crowd that subsists on redefining anything to suit its agenda. This new definition is thrown into the logic grinder when you consider that of the up to 60 genders being recognized, that when you look at its definition of male, we get told it is the opposite of female, leaving one to ponder then how it just described any of the dozens of other genders.

Both Kinds of Standards – VANITY FAIR

  • Just because they said it was acceptable does not mean they accept it…we guess?

This past weekend, the Florida GOP staged its Sunshine Summit, with numerous Republican figures in attendance and conservative media. A number of the press came to find out they were denied access to the event and began mewling about how unfair it was and that Republicans were creating a dangerous precedent.

A growing number of GOP operatives are saying it is becoming a fool's game to engage with a press corps that essentially has pre-written hit pieces at the ready, so why play along? At Vanity Fair, they sounded the alarm, describing what this could all mean going forward.

GOP politicians are increasingly shirking sit-down interviews, barring journalists from 2022 events, and skipping debates—an aversion to media scrutiny that could upend how the next presidential election cycle is covered.

Imagine that – the press decrying politicians who display an aversion to the press. I wonder where this mentality might have derived? (Spoiler Alert: I don't actually wonder this point.)

Reporting on the Mirror – I HEART RADIO

  • It appears Olbermann has been found accurate for a refreshing change.

The announcement was made that the oft-fired firebrand Keith Olbermann has been hired by iHeart Radio to begin a new podcast. "New" is a subjective definition here, as he will be basically recreating his former MSNBC program "Countdown," but without his self-serious visage assaulting viewers. He will also be dishing on insider affairs from the outlets that will no longer hire him, supposedly promising scoops on the industry. The Daily Beast media newsletter spoke with him about the new program.

- "I don't have to toe any line whatsoever. Let's see how I can light myself on fire with gasoline and nitroglycerine every day," Olbermann told Confider about the show.

Anti-Social Media – WASHINGTON POST

  • 'People doing the same thing I do are so totally not fair, and stuff!'

Basically, we are looking at a child demanding that people pay attention to her loud complaints of having attention being paid to her. Taylor Lorenz is once again making news, but not by doing her job as a reporter. The latest self-referential meltdown is her complaining about being involved in public displays.

First, she announces she will attend a protest event, complete with providing the address of where she will be. Then she complained about one individual in attendance, who she had to seek out and approach because they were supposedly stalking her. It turned out to be a fan of hers, who had been reposting her publicly-displayed content. This, as we have come to expect from this Queen Of Drama, was claimed to be an attack upon her.
