Biography
Rabbi Benjamin Sendrow has served as rabbi of Congregation Shaarey Tefilla in Carmel, IN since August of 2010. He was born in Philadelphia and grew up in the Philadelphia suburb of Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Rabbi Sendrow has published articles and sermons in several publications including The American Rabbi, a story in Chicken Soup for the Jewish Soul, and as a member of The Jewish Daily Forward’s Rabbinic Roundtable. This year he received a Doctor of Divinity, honoris causa, from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
