So often I get asked if the left is that incompetent. No, they are not incompetent; they know exactly what they are doing, and why. This begs the question of why anyone would want to be in a position of power in a country that they obviously despise. I think we all recall the assertion by Barack Obama back in 2008: "We are five days from fundamentally transforming the United States." It was quite telling that no one said “Stop! What is this transformation? What are we transforming to, or from what? The crowd of mindless lemmings just went into a deranged euphoria, and those who did ask questions were dismissed. Or worse, called a racist for daring to challenge an assertion of the chosen one.
We must no longer be dismissive or allow ourselves to be dismissed when it comes to the objectives of the progressive socialist left in America. Sadly, some of the Republican party ilk serve as complicit enablers. I always recommend that everyone read Saul Alinsky's “Rules for Radicals” to ascertain the leftist mindset. You must also read and study Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. After reading those two works, then pick up Sun Tzu's “The Art of War,” that is if you want to arm yourself intellectually and mentally to understand the strategy and objectives of the left and how to defeat them.
The leftists in America are in full-scale mode to put America in such an untenable position. One from which it cannot recover. They realize that they blew the first two years of the Obama administration on Obamacare, then lost the House of Representatives in the 2010 midterm election. Later they lost the US Senate in 2014. Unfortunately, when the Republicans had the White House, House, and Senate in the first two years of the Trump administration, they failed to have a strategic vision or plan and squandered an opportunity. Democrats in the minority are tenacious, in the majority they are tyrannical. Republicans fail to carpe diem and always allow the leftists to dictate the narrative.
The leftists are not dumb. They are crafty, cunning, and diabolical in their quest to end the life cycle of the longest-running Constitutional Republic that the world has ever known. They are completely cognizant of the consequences and ramifications of their ideological agenda but refuse to reverse course, even in the face of abject failure. To them, what we constitutional conservatives see as failure, they see as successful implementation of their agenda. What many see as insane, they see as perfectly fine. After all, for the left, their mantra is "the ends justify the means," and will be achieved "by any means necessary."

The economy is not faring well, but their goal is to create an economy that works for everyone. That is a socialist mentality and the whole "fair share" rhetoric comes from Marx's principle of "from each according to their ability to each according to their need." That is what we call wealth redistribution. Inflation still plagues this nation and interest rates remain high to deflect the inflationary stress. That means it is tougher to buy a home or a car. We ruined our energy independence in pursuit of the leftist religion of climate change. The Biden administration put a restraint on our liquified natural gas (LNG) exports, which not only affects our economic security but also global security. We are forcing a dependence upon the very countries who are our geopolitical foes, but green must triumph.
Our border has been left unsecured and tens of thousands of single military-aged males are pouring into our country and endangering our nation. But the left doesn't care that we have more "gotaways" in our country than our active duty strength in our Army and Marine Corps. Then again, the left does not care that our military is not meeting its recruitment and retention goals. The most important thing for our military is mentally disturbed gender dysphoric individuals running about in uniform, and use of the proper use of pronouns. Doggone, the left cannot even explain what a woman is . . .
I think any of you could go on and on about this subject, but the point is that none of this is happenstance or an indication of incompetence. It is time we realize that we are in a life-and-death battle for the future of our Constitutional Republic. This is no longer a political game; it is an ideological civil war. We are up against those who will use the tactics of fear, intimidation, coercion, threats, and violence. The leftists embrace domestic terrorist and subversive groups like Antifa, BLM, and pro-Hamas supporters. Yet, if you are pro-life and believe in parental rights, you will be designated a domestic terrorist, charged, and imprisoned.
The time for half-measures -- seeking compromise, bipartisanship, negotiation, and appeasement -- has ended. How can one reason with those of a philosophy that is antithetical to our very system of governance? Honestly, you cannot. Marxism and progressive socialism have infiltrated every societal operating system in America. It has done so because at every turn we attempted to be rational with the irrational, tolerant of the intolerable, and accommodating to that which should never be accommodated. Yes, we allowed moral relativism and secular humanism to undermine our fabric, and now we pay the price.
Roman statesman Marcus Tullius Cicero said it best:
“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.”
There can be no debate. What is happening in America is not rooted in incompetence. It is grounded in a treasonous governing philosophy that intends to fundamentally transform our Republic into something unrecognizable. Something that is unacceptable, and FUBAR!
