Mike Hurst was elected Chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party in May 2024 and currently practices law as a partner at the law firm Phelps Dunbar LLP in Jackson, Mississippi. Before joining Phelps, Mike was appointed by President Donald J. Trump to serve as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi from 2017 to 2021.
Mike also serves as the General Counsel for the Republican National Committee (RNC).
