conducted by the New York Times and CBS found that 51 percent of Americans supported Arizona's immigration law. Thirty-six percent said the law went too far and 9 percent said it did not go far enough.
According to the same poll, 78 percent of Americans thought that the federal government should be doing more to protect our borders.
