Last week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani hinted that the Trump campaign had some "pretty big surprises" up their sleeves before Election Day. Some have come to believe that "pretty big surprise" was the FBI's reopened investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails, proving that he was somehow privy to the agency's decision and that it was politically motivated.
There is no proof that Giuliani had inside knowledge of the FBI's investigation schedule. Yet, that hasn't stopped liberals like Michael Moore from directly tying him to the agency.
Hot Air's Ed Morrissey gives a lengthy defense of Giuliani's innocence until proven guilty, pointing to the former mayor's“Well it sure sounds like he knew something. You know, I mean this man is a former federal prosecutor, worked for the Justice Department. If somebody slipped him some information there, I mean, that is amazing,” Moore told CNN on Thursday.
