Duck Dynasty's Willie Mocks 'Media Experts' Who Have Been 'Humbled' by Donald Trump
"Duck Dynasty" star and CEO Willie Robertson addressed the RNC convention Monday night and mocked so called media experts who predicted time and again there was no way Donald Trump would get near the White House.

"It's been a rough year for the media experts," Robertson said. "It must be humbling to be so wrong about so much for so long."

Robertson had an explanation for the pundits' failed assessments.

"But I have a theory about why they missed the Trump Train: they don’t hang out with regular folks like us who hunt, fish, pray and actually work for a living."

Certainly, Trump proved his critics wrong this past year. When he announced he was running for president last summer, people either laughed or wrote him off. Then America voted. The result? Trump, the outsider businessman who never ran for political office, beat several governors and senators to gain the GOP presidential nomination.

In his speech, Robertson noted why he is supporting Trump this election cycle, in part because he reminds him so much of himself.

"We’re both successful businessmen," Robertson said. "We’ve both had hit TV shows. And we both have intelligent wives who are much better looking than we are."

If you're looking for a president who will grow jobs, protect our national security and tell you the truth, Robertson said, Donald Trump is your guy.

"But Donald Trump will always – always – tell you the truth as he sees it," he said. "And that's why we can trust him to make America great again as our next president."
