Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been racking up the endorsements in the last couple of days: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Maine Gov. Paul LePage, and now pop singer Aaron Carter. Carter announced his endorsement on Twitter, setting off a firestorm amongst his followers.
Carter then went on to elaborate to his somewhat shocked fans that he does not support Trump's ideas on LGBT issues or on immigration, but rather he admires his business skill.
I don't EXPECT anything! I DONT support the gay marriage ban or the immigration stuff but business man trump I do https://t.co/mcZvajIaub— Aaron Carter (@aaroncarter) February 27, 2016

Good thing I live in America and I have the right to my own opinion such as a lot of my NON supporters have for me at times ????— Aaron Carter (@aaroncarter) February 27, 2016
Carter also said that he turned down "The Apprentice," Trump's former reality show, twice.
I turned down doing the apprentice twice ?? FYI— Aaron Carter (@aaroncarter) February 27, 2016
Carter joins former "Real Housewives" star Teresa Giudice as celebrities who have publicly supported Trump.
