Boehner: Veto Threat on Cut, Cap Act 'Unfortunate'

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) called the administration's announcement "disappointing" and accused the White House of not being "serious" on choosing where to cut government spending.

"This unfortunate veto threat should make clear that the issue is not congressional inaction, but rather the President's unwillingness to cut spending and restrain the future growth of our government," Boehner said in a statement.
