Kevin A. Ring has extensive experience in conservative politics and has worked with conservative members of both the House and Senate. In 1993, Ring joined the staff of U.S. Representative John T. Doolittle and became the Congressman’s Legislative Director in 1995. During that time, he helped to create the Conservative Action Team, a caucus comprised of 50 conservative House Republicans. In 1998, Ring was named by then-U.S. Senator John Ashcroft as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee's Constitution, Federalism and Property Rights Subcommittee. He served a year before returning to the House and became Executive Director of the Conservative Action Team (later renamed the Republican Study Committee). In 2002 and 2003, Ring was named by The Hill newspaper as one of the “Star Rainmakers” in its annual list of top lobbyists.
Ring has appeared on FOX’s Hannity & Colmes and Fox & Friends as well as CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight.
Kevin Ring graduated with honors from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America. He is currently a counsel at Barnes & Thornburg in Washington, DC. Ring resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife and daughter.
