Brady President Now Has Issue With Guns for Law Enforcement

Courtesy of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

Most gun control advocates claim they're not against guns completely, which is true. They generally want the police and military to have guns, if for no other reason than to use them to take your guns.

But the president of a prominent gun control group apparently doesn't even want the cops armed.

Kris Brown is the president of Brady. Honestly, she's probably one of the most laughably stupid people in the gun control space. She praised the Star Wars show The Acolyte because it didn't include blasters, just light sabers – the same kind of weapon Anakin Skywalker used to slaughter Jedi younglings in job lots--just to name one idiotic example.

On Bluesky, she hit a new low.

So now, arming federal law enforcement officers is fueling violence?

Then again, she thinks Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is going after Americans, not illegal immigrant criminals who not just cross the border illegally, but engage in countless violent crimes, including many that Brown and her anti-gun allies try to use to attack our right to keep and bear arms.

ICE has grown to a staggering degree because agents are needed to keep up with the numbers the Biden administration just let walk into the country, despite the law.

And leftists like Brown have gone after ICE with a vengeance. Even the cartels have gotten into it, offering bounties for agents. That kind of tells you all you need to know about the illegals being deported. The cartels wouldn't get involved unless it impacted their business. The fact that they want to kill ICE agents means they're taking a hit through the deportation efforts.

Brown, however, is so anti-gun that she can't help but focus on those.

Yet again, these are police officers. Is Brown admitting that her organization actually opposes even the police having guns?

There's a saying that I'm sure you've all heard before: When they tell you who they really are, listen.

Brown is making it clear that, despite the anti-gunners' protestations to the contrary, they're so vehemently anti-gun that even the police having firearms is troubling for them. They might not plan on focusing their attention there, but they will try to disarm the police.

And, of course, that works so well in England that the police have to call for police anytime there's the least bit of danger.

Screw that.

Of course, the media isn't going to make much of this. They'll shrug it off or outright excuse it because they're in the same camp. They don't want anyone having guns, either, except for the private security they hire whenever they want. Those of us who can't afford to outsource our security would just be screwed entirely.

And in Brown's world, so would ICE.

It's funny because if she took issue with it from a budgetary standpoint, I might be willing to listen. That's a lot of money, no matter what the starting point was. I'm not saying I'd agree with her, because I'm pretty sure there are valid reasons for it, considering how ICE has been thrust to the forefront of the American mind, but I'd be willing to listen.

Instead, it's just Brown being hysterical.

Again.
