DNC-Linked Reporter Backs Down After Being Caught Exposing ICE Raids

A reporter with ties to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is facing backlash after being caught exposing sensitive details about ongoing ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids. The reporter, who initially published a report revealing the operations, quickly backtracked amid mounting controversy and scrutiny after leaking the whereabouts of ICE raids that could jeopardize law enforcement efforts and endanger officers.

Pablo Manriquez, who previously served as a director of Latino and Hispanic outreach for the DNC, revealed on Sunday that ICE was preparing for a raid in northern Virginia. He included tips for illegal immigrants on how they can evade ICE.

“ICE RAIDS are planned for Monday & Tuesday in Northern Virginia, per multiple sources who tell us ICE has obtained between 75 and 100 judicial warrants,” he wrote on X. “Judicial warrants mean ICE can go into your homes, so plan accordingly. Remember that state police have been deputized to help ICE, so highways, etc, are unsafe.”

On Monday, he revealed the locations where ICE officers will be staked out in Northern Virginia.

“New: ICE has been spotted in Buchanan, Buckingham, Ft. Myers, Ballston, Arlington, Rosslyn, Manases, and on the Little River Turnpike—all in Northern Virginia,” his post read.

However, Fox News reporters Bill Melugin and Lawrence B. Jones exposed Manriquez’s efforts to blow immigration officers' cover.

In response, Manriquez complained that the outlet unfairly targeted him, labeling Melugin and Lawrence as "virtue signalers."

“New. Fox News is ganging up on @MigrantInsider. Funny thing is we got no booking requests to have me on their air about my ICE raid scoop. None. Their Hill team is fire but Bill and Lawrence are just virtue signalers, is all. Completely unserious and cowardly af,” he posted.

He then thanked Fox News for reporting on him before calling those who are speaking out against him “mediocre keyboard warriors.”
