Ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has been exonerated. The Department of Justice is dropping the criminal charges against him after new documents showed an entrapment plot against him. The FBI had no basis to conduct an interview with Flynn as part of their Russian collusion circus act. They had no evidence of Russian collusion against him. There was no Russian collusion in general, but you know that already. It was a manufactured myth peddled by the liberal media. Flynn's lawyer, Sidney Powell, said back in October that new docs would reveal such a heinous plot. She was right, and before the DOJ dropped the case, she warned more damning evidence would be revealed.
It also shows that disgraced top FBI officials James Comey and Andrew McCabe wanted Flynn at any cost. It's a mess and one that could give Flynn grounds to file a lawsuit against the FBI for malicious prosecution. Anyway, Flynn has won. He's in the clear. And there are more than a few Trump administration officials who want him back in some capacity for 2020, calling him their "Nelson Mandela" (via The Daily Beast):
Of the nine senior Trump administration officials, campaign staff, outside advisers, and longtime associates of the president reached on Thursday, all said that they wanted Flynn to assume some public-facing role in service of the president, including potentially as an official Trump surrogate as Election Day inches closer. One even compared the ex-general, who pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian officials, to one of history’s greatest human rights icons.
“Years ago when Nelson Mandela came to America after years of political persecution he was treated like a rock star by Americans,” John McLaughlin, one of President Trump’s chief pollsters, told The Daily Beast on Thursday evening. “Now after over three years of political persecution General Flynn is our rock star. A big difference is that he was persecuted in America.”
Trump himself seems determined to see it happen. According to a source who has spoken to the president about Flynn in the past month, Trump had made clear that if legal circumstances permitted, he would want Flynn to get “something good” in his political orbit following years of bad press and legal turmoil. The source said it was unclear if Trump meant a job in the administration, a role for the 2020 campaign, or another position. But the remark was in keeping with other comments that the president made throughout Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Flynn did nothing wrong. In fact, that's exactly what the FBI agents who interviewed him said afterward; they didn't think he lied to them. Flynn is the victim of a malicious anti-Trump DOJ that was acting on initial orders set forth by outgoing President Barack Obama, who held key meetings prior to him leaving office about how to protect the FBI's Russian collusion probe and possibly prevent the incoming Trump White House from finding out. That devolved into the deep state antics we see today from these Obama holdovers. The targeted media leaks were no accident. They wanted to inflict damage on Trump. Well, now, the hunters are becoming the hunted. And Flynn should come back if not only to send the minds of liberal America into shock again. Cry more, liberals—that should be the default reaction to everything they whine about.
