IMPEACH: Nancy Pelosi Met With Russian President Dmitry Medvedev In 2010

Given that meeting with Russians is now an offense so egregious that it warrants resignation, Nancy Pelosi better tender her resignation for meeting with then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in 2010. Raffi Williams at Circa had more:

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, who has demanded the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions for meeting with the Russian ambassador while a member of Congress, herself met with Vladimir Putin's right-hand man in Washington in 2010 while President Obama was in power.

Pelosi hosted then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev at the U.S. Capitol, at a time when concerns about Russia's human rights continued to persist, especially in the liberal wing of her party.

During an interview with Politico at the Newseum this morning, Pelosi said that she has never met with current Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, though past Associated Press photos shows that she indeed did meet with him. Amnesia or just hoping that no one would find out the truth, it seems clear that the Democrats are overreaching over their outrage over Russia. Members of Congress meet with foreign officials. That is a fact.
