Bill Bennett: I See in Trump a Lot of What I Saw in Reagan

If Bill Bennett’s right, Donald Trump could be the next Ronald Reagan.

Bennett, who served in Reagan’s administration as Secretary of Education from 1985-1988, told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that he sees in Trump much of what he did in the 40th president of the United States.

“Look, this guy comes to Washington as a certain man, and liberals don’t understand him. The media doesn’t. A lot of American people do. I’ve seen in him a lot of what I saw in Ronald Reagan. Reagan had two goals, really, as I saw them. One, destroy the evil empire. And two, restore the good sense of the American people."

We’ll find out soon enough.
