Kris Paronto: A Bullet Should Have Been Put in Benghazi Terrorist's Head

"It's disgusting."

That was the response from Army Ranger Kris "Tonto" Paronto to the news that Benghazi terrorist Ahmed Abu Khatallah was found not guilty of murder by a jury and therefore will avoid the death penalty. He faced 18 charges and was acquitted of the most serious 14.

Paronto was at the U.S. consulate on 9/11/2012 when terrorists attacked the compound and killed Ambassador Chris Stephens, Information Management Officer Sean Smith, Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty. He fought on the roof of the building for 13 hours.

From the FBI

Khatallah was captured in Libya on June 15, 2014, and brought to the United States to face trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  The jury found him guilty of one count of conspiracy to provide material support or resources to terrorists, one count of providing material support or resources to terrorists, one count of maliciously destroying and injuring dwellings and property, and placing lives in jeopardy within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, and one count of using and carrying a semiautomatic weapon during a crime of violence.  He was acquitted of the remaining counts against him.

The trial began Oct. 2, before a jury in the courtroom of the Honorable Judge Christopher R. Cooper of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  Over the next six weeks, the government presented testimony from 30 witnesses, including four from Libya. The witnesses included those who were wounded in the attack, as well as relatives of the people who died.  The government’s witnesses also included others who survived the attacks.

"This should have never gotten to a criminal court," Paronto said during an interview with Fox News. "The extraction team should have put a bullet in his head."

"It really shows there still isn't closure for the families. They still have not gotten justice," he continued. "You don't bring a terrorist and waste taxpayer money and give him a criminal trial. You put him in GITMO or you interrogate him and you execute him. That's how you deal with terrorists."

"You don't give animals due process and that's what terrorists are," he said.

Paronto also took to his Instagram and Twitter pages, where he expressed additional choice words on the issue.

When do terrorists deserve due process?!!! This should not have even reached a criminal court. What’s next..granting terrorists their miranda rights ?? Even with this @barackobama @hillaryclinton side show... Let’s look at the facts ??.. he helped plan the attack, participated in the attack, and fired his weapon at Americans along with the other 50-100 terrorists, leaving Ambo Stevens and Sean Smith dead.... sounds like murder to me! The politicians and piece of shit lawyers need to be dropped in a firefight and see if their views and their political correctness changes... after they clean their shorts ??. Political F***in cowards ????. #politicalcorrectnesskills #shareabulletwithisis #weakleaders #gitmo #militarytribunal #interrogate then #execute #warcrime #tanto #13hours #neverforget #rone #bub #neverquit @benghazi_running_club @theijr @13hoursmovie @88tactical @big3eastmediagroup @maximdefense @alienarmorgear @thaddea_co @ballisticmag @14thhourfoundation

Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill, the man who shot and killed Osama bin Laden, agrees.
