Phoenix: Raising Funds to Bring The Terry Family Justice

Phoenix, Ariz.- It has been nearly a year since Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was gunned down in the Arizona desert by illegal Mexican bandits. The guns used by the men to kill Terry, were provided to them through the Obama Justice Department's Operation Fast and Furious. The House Oversight Committee has been investigating the tactics and people responsible for the lethal program for months, yet because of endless stonewalling by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Justice Department, the Terry family still doesn't have answers about what really happened to Brian, a former Marine and special BORTAC agent.

Tonight, two Phoenix area business women and friends of Brian, have organized a fundraiser in his honor. The money raised will go to Brian's mother, Josephine Terry, so she can attend hearings on Capitol Hill about Operation Fast and Furious and her son's death. She, and the entire Terry family have been through absolute hell trying to find out what happened. The family also plans to file an unlawful death suit against the feds for what happened to Brian.

If you're in the Phoenix area, or just want to make a donation, you can visit rememberbrianterry.com for more information. Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu will be speaking at the event. Jay Dobyns, best selling author and ATF Special agent will be the emcee. ATF whistleblowers Vince Cefalu, John Dodson and Pete Forcelli will be in attendance.
