Prediction market bettors lost millions of dollars on Monday after a shocking 0-0 draw between soccer giant Spain and the African micro-state of Cabo Verde.

Prediction markets had figured that Spain, one of the most successful international soccer teams in existence, would blow out Cabo Verde and gave the European power a 96 percent chance of winning the match. The huge bets would have only paid out potential winnings amounting in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Behind the effort of their 40-year-old goalkeeper Vozhina, Cabo Verde managed to secure a clean sheet in the draw along with the first ever World Cup point in their nation’s history. The performance was so monumental that Vozhina went from having 50,000 Instagram followers before the match to more than 1.8 million just hours afterward.

Despite what seemed like a sure thing for the losing bettors who wagered on Spain, one individual who placed a huge bet on Spain to not win the match managed to rake in over $4 million from the bold selection.

The match is the biggest upset of the tournament so far and ranks with the most startling results next to America’s 4-1 win over Paraguay and Germany’s 7-1 victory against Curaçao.
