Trump Announces Date for Next Official Press Conference

Donald Trump will hold his first press conference since becoming the president-elect on January 11. 

Kellyanne Conway confirmed the date on CNN Monday night.

"I know that's the current plan. So that's next week," she told Anderson Cooper. 

However, plans can change, and Trump has already moved the date once before.

Back in November, the president-elect announced that he would hold a press conference in December. But on December 13, he tweeted that the conference was postponed. 

I will hold a press conference in the near future to discuss the business, Cabinet picks and all other topics of interest. Busy times!

The newly elected president typically holds a press conference within the first week after the election. Then again, Trump isn't your typical president-elect.
