Friday Fun: The CIA K9s Graduated

It's been a doozy of a news week, so please enjoy these pictures of the CIA's new K9 class celebrating their graduation from dog school.

The CIA has been providing periodic "pupdates" on the dogs during their four months of training, including the bittersweet news of recruit Lulu failing out of the program.

But now, the dogs have graduated, so let's celebrate before the real work begins.

But good news--the dogs passed. Freya was awarded the "Top Dog Award" for her near-perfect score on the exam.

Even Harry, who replaced Lulu, was able to catch up and graduate on time. Good boy!

Unfortunately, one dog--Suni--was unable to graduate as her handler was unable to finish the program. But there's a happy ending--Suni was adopted by the people who raised her as a puppy, who are thrilled to have her in their home.

Now that the new puppies have graduated, that means their older counterparts will retire. The retired K9 dogs were all adopted by their handlers.

And if you need any more dog pictures/brain bleach from this garbage news week, you can find that here:
