Seems as though two years has resulted in quite the tone change from the White House:
From November 14, 2011:
We can't wait to make health care more affordable. President Obama launches Innovation Challenge. Send your ideas: http://t.co/71puvhhV
— The White House (@WhiteHouse) November 14, 2011
From October 21, 2013:
"If one thing is worth the wait, it’s the safety and security of health care that you can afford." —Obama: http://t.co/9lBHmuGogp #Obamacare
— The White House (@WhiteHouse) October 21, 2013
Translation: "Just kidding, maybe 'affordable' health care can wait after all."
It continues to amaze me how unprepared the administration was to launch the president's signature piece of legislation. The numerous website errors, glitches, and other mishaps, in addition to a full-blown delay of the employer mandate, signify that something has gone terribly wrong with this bill.
