ObamaCare Premiums Hide Abortion Fees

As part of the "Affordable Care Act" (more accurately known as ObamaCare), insurance companies are supposed to disclose whether their plans cover abortions.

It's bad enough that such "disclosure" may be an infinitesimal part of a massive document, rendering the requirement functionally meaningless.

Now, however, it turns out that Washington, Maryland, and New York (where pro-lifers are unwelcome anyway) have gone even farther -- actually instructing the insurance companies they need not itemize the charge despite the fact that the law requires it.

Rep. Chris Smith has introduced the Abortion Full Disclosure Act to address this injustice. It's a perfect time for Democrats to disclose whether they are truly "pro-choice" -- or just pro-abortion.
