A Sobering Statistic

According to the CDC, one in four teenage girls has an STD. This is part of the alarm I have been trying to sound in my book, Prude: How the Sex-Obsessed Culture Damages Girls (and America, Too!)

. In fact, as shocking as the STD statistic is, it's only part of the damage that giving too much, too soon creates for girls.

Our culture needs to do better -- for the sake of these young women, and for their male counterparts, too.
