Biden Finally Calls for the Violence to End

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden took his time in calling for an end to the violence that has gripped the nation the past few days. The former vice president finally issued a statement calling for an end to the violence shortly after midnight on Sunday.

"Protesting such brutality is right and necessary. It’s an utterly American response. But burning down communities and needless destruction is not. Violence that endangers lives is not," the statement reads.

Did Biden learn about the fires, destruction, and violence only on Sunday? They've been going on for the past few days.

On Wednesday night, rioters in Minnesota left a wide path of destruction in their wake, including a bar owned by a black former firefighter. The bar was just one of several businesses owned by minorities that was heavily damaged or destroyed by rioters.

On Thursday, the mob continued their destruction and set fire to a Minneapolis police station.

Was Sleepy Joe awake for any of this?

President Trump called for the violence to end on Friday night, saying, "[t]he looters should not be allowed to drown out the voices of so many peaceful protesters."

"The family of George is entitled to justice and the people of Minnesota are entitled to live in safety. Law and order will prevail. The Americans will honor the memory of George and the Floyd family," the president said.

But with Biden asleep at the wheel as always, the violence rolled on through the weekend. A mob viciously beat a man to near death in Dallas on Saturday night, and female shop owner was similarly attacked outside her own store.

Things don't appear to be slowing down. In Philly, it's total anarchy as a mob torched police cars and looted businesses. Violence is continuing to erupt all across the country as governors now turn to the National Guard to restore some semblance of order.

The rioters are destroying the lives of not only the people they beat to a pulp but also the businesses of hard-working Americans, many of them blacks and Hispanics. Joe Biden doesn't care.
