You Can Now Send Your Kids To An Antifa Indoctrination Summer Camp

Ahh, summer vacation -- a time for kids to enjoy slip n' slides, lemonade stands, and...training to become the next generation of Antifa?

The folks over at PJ Media flagged this story yesterday. Out of the far-left city of Portland, Oregon comes "Budding Roses Summer Camp."  PJ Media's Jeff Reynolds received an online flyer for summer activities for elementary school kids. Part of that notice was the oh-so-kid-friendly offer of sending his children to "free social justice summer camps and year-round workshops for Portland-area youth in 4th-8th grade." A closer look at the group's website reveals that this includes "a combination of community-building activities, discussions on social justice topics, interactive workshops, movies, arts, games, and free time."

Who puts on these activities? A barrage of left-wing activists who seek socialism in the United States.

For example, there's the Burgerville Workers Union, who views itself as "part of a larger vision for a world that centers human need over the pursuit of profit."

Then we have Critical Resistance PDX as a leader, although literature from the camp indicates there are not any actual leaders, rather there just equal participants comprised of children and adults (though I'm sure some are more equal than others.) Critical Resistance PDX is a bunch of "dedicated prison industrial complex abolitionists" who seek to impose a "political vision with the goal of eliminating imprisonment, policing, and surveillance and creating lasting alternatives to punishment and imprisonment."

These organizations and others supply counselors who volunteer to teach your children why capitalism, the United States justice system, and traditional gender roles must be dismantled. Pictures from the Budding Roses' Facebook page show that potential lesson plans include "Anarchist Pedagogy In Action."

Other pictures show that at least year's camp, instructors and children drew up war plans for freeing animals supposedly caged by evil corporations. These plans entailed establishing blockades and lockdowns to take over the company and free the creatures.

In clicking through the group's Facebook page, it is obvious the camp is nothing but far left, radical ideas aimed at indoctrinating youth. As Reynolds notes, the camp is in part sponsored by Black Rose Anarchist Federation / Federación Anarquista Rosa Negra (BRRN)This group "is a political organization with locals in over a dozen cities sharing a common set of politics and creating a shared strategic vision of how to build “popular power” in workplaces, neighborhoods, schools and all sectors of society towards the goal of libertarian socialism. Our organizing work is centered on building mass movements such as tenant unions, neighborhood assemblies, workplace campaigns, student unions, prisoner organizing, and in defense of communities resisting criminalization and deportations."

Reynolds starkly warns parents that "you can't tell me that we're not in a war for the soul of our culture. The Marxist revolutionaries are now reaching into our elementary schools to recruit ever younger comrades for the front lines."
