Obama: 'This Is An Attack Not Just on Paris, But on All of Humanity'

President Obama said Friday in a brief press conference that the United States is prepared to provide any assistance the people and government of France need.

“Whenever these attacks happen we’ve always been able to count on the French people to stand with us, they’re an extraordinary counterterrorism partner,” he said, adding that the U.S. stands ready to reciprocate.

"This is an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians," Obama said. "This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on France, but an attack on all of humanity and the values that we share."

He also said that because the situation is still active and there are dangers continuing to take place he did not want to speculate on who was responsible.

He then left without taking any questions.
