Gun Store Sign Poking Fun At Obama is Going Viral

How does one make the president angry? Well, according to Mark Teal, owner of Simpsonville Gun and Pawn in Simpsonville, South Carolina, the easiest way to do so is to purchase a firearm. The sign at Simpsonville Gun and Pawn's, which says just that, is going viral after someone snapped a picture of it and put it on the internet.

According to the owner, the sign was inspired by the president's speech on Sunday night. The president proposed blocking those on the "No-Fly List" from purchasing firearms, banning certain types of firearms, as well as making it harder to buy guns in general.

“It’s mainly just to sell guns, but there’s a little bit of political connotation to it also,” said Mark Teal, owner of Simpsonville Gun and Pawn.

It’s a political connotation, according to Teal, stemming from Obama’s address to the country Sunday night regarding terrorism and gun control.

While the sign is a little crude,, Teal may be on to something. Gun sales have increased throughout Obama's presidency, and Americans have purchased 100 million during the past seven years the president has been in office. On Black Friday, the FBI processed a record number of background checks for gun sales.
