There are 435 House races every two years, so it’s tough to keep track of all the candidates, but Paige Cognetti, the mayor of Scranton and the Democrat hopeful for Pennsylvania’s eighth district, is an illegal alien’s best friend. You’d think we’d forget to wish her a happy 5-year anniversary for one of the dumbest things said about immigration? No.
On this day, she gave an interview advocating for mass amnesty and argued that a pathway to citizenship for all illegals was not only morally right but also economically beneficial. They've done nothing wrong in her eyes.
Yeah, big business definitely appreciates that, Paige — you’re keeping the pipeline of cheap labor well flowing. The illegal alien influx that Joe Biden refused to stop and even encouraged drives American wages down. So, giving free stuff and citizenship to illegals just makes the American working class poorer. Yeah, that sounds like your 2026 Democrat.
Cognetti wants to allow all these illegals in, put them on a pathway to citizenship, and give them taxpayer-funded healthcare and education benefits. Who is doing her political strategizing, because that’s a recipe for electoral death.
In 2023, she fanned more flames on this open border nonsense, being one of six Democratic mayors who sent a letter to then-President Joe Biden, imploring him to commit an act of executive overreach to protect these people.
“Paige Cognetti wants to bring back Biden’s Border Crisis and grant amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants – and she wants NEPA residents to pay for it, said RNC Spokesperson Kristen Cianci. “No matter what costume she tries on, voters know Coastal Cognetti is nothing but a carpetbagging radical leftist out of touch with Pennsylvania values.”
Democrats lost in 2024 over this issue, and they aren’t winning it right now. They’re wrong on Iran, coddling antisemites, enabling terrorist-sympathizers, and trying to cast this socialist insurgency as some organic working class uprising. It’s not, it’s a mass tantrum from whiny, elitist college-educated whites. And Paige would be a rubber stamp on the Democrats’ far-left, radical, illiberal, and anti-American agenda.
It’s that simple. Paige is no amigo to America.
