When J.K. Rowling wrote the first installment of the "Harry Potter" series — "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" — she was a single mom living on the dole. She fled an abusive relationship and, through her creative wit and determination, became one of the world's wealthiest women and most beloved authors. Under most circumstances, the Left would hold up Rowling as a success story and one of their own.
Love Rowling though I do, I am not naive enough to think she and I would see eye-to-eye on many issues. She's a liberal, but she's also a feminist who believes the word "woman" still means something: namely that women do not have penises. That's snark, of course, but like the vast majority of us, Rowling defines a woman as an adult human female. That's important, because women's sex-based rights are contingent on having a fixed definition of gender.
The trans activist crowd does not live in that reality and has spent years trying to not only erase women, but to punish anyone who dares cling to the science and common knowledge professed is human beings for millennia: there are two genders, and that's it. While never justified, I understand why the trans activist crowd gets so angry and violent. They live in a delusion and, like all delusional people, they believe their delusions are reality. When anyone dispels that notion, the reaction is often violent.
This Reddit post is no different. But it is one of the most disgusting things I've ever read.

It says (emphasis added):
Allegedly, he beat the s**t out of her and left her in a pool of blood. Why didn't he finish her? Why? Why did he have to do a half-a** job? [He] could have easily sent her to the afterlife and would have ridden the world of her petulant pestilence.
Have no mercy for transphobes like her or Matt Walsh. They need to be expunged, eviscerated, pulverized. It's not true that they are worried about children or women's safety. They couldn't care less. They use children and women's safety as a red herring, just to evoke strong reactions in people. Trust me, they hate us regardless. They are f***ing vile cowards who deserve to be incinerated because they have chosen to attack the most vulnerable and defenseless cohort of people in the world, knowing that we can't defend ourselves.
Let's pray that J.K. Rowling gets cancer. We did it with Magdalen Berns, we can do it with Joanne. Come on.
For the record, Rowling's daughter was five months old when Rowling left Arantes. This Reddit user wanted that little girl to grow up without her mother, in the custody of a domestic abuser.
And he thinks he's the good guy here. Okay.
The trans community is not vulnerable or defenseless. They have tremendous and imbalanced political and social clout and influence. People have gotten fired for refusing to share locker rooms with "trans identifying" men; men can simply say they're women and be placed in female prisons, where the female inmates are punished if those men rape or assault them. States have rewritten laws and policies to erase women from the law. They demand and are given access to women's shelters, lactation groups, and hospital wards.
In Virginia, Richard Cox — a convicted sex offender — simply had to say he was a woman and he was granted access to female locker rooms, where he exposed his penis to women and girls.
Rowling looks at this and says it's wrong. She created Beria's Place, a shelter for abused women where men — even if they say they're women — aren't allowed. She's paid the legal bills of women persecuted and fired for refusing to change in front of men or challenging "trans inclusive" policies that infringe on women's rights.
What a monster.

This illustrates not only the dangerous, violent nature of the Left but is proof that they cannot be allowed to have power. What do you think this Reddit user would do if he were in charge of public policy like healthcare or prisons? Rowling — and women like her, including me — would be denied treatment or end up behind bars. They are not tolerant, they are not loving, they are not kind.
They are fascists, and they are a threat to our lives and freedoms. They think domestic abuse is justified if it takes out their political opponents.
Rowling's only offense isn't her "petulant pestilence" it was refusing to pretend that sex is fluid and that women's rights must take a backseat to the feelings of men. This post is not a joke or an outlier. It is the only logical end of a movement that sees Rowling's peaceful activism as an act of violence and the trans community as the only victim. And it illustrates exactly why Rowling does what she does: to protect women from the men who would do them harm.
